COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With clear notes of espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of authentic Icelandic coffee, this Porter is dark and rich, offering a medium body that is robust, yet smooth on the palate and easy to drink. There’s no need to be afraid of the dark anymore.

Deep ruby red basically dark brown almost black. with a frothy, thick beige lasting head. Smells of deep roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and caramel. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Nice roasted chocolate taste with some burnt elements, malt, caramel and a smoky dry coffee finish. I like it but it feels a bit burnt.

Draft. Dark black with a slight white ring. The aroma is faint. The flavor is coffee and chocolate. A little thickness on the tongue but with a very well balanced finish.

Negra opaca, dos dedos de espuma manchada. Aroma tostado.

On tap at the Big Texas Beer Fest. Dark brown to black pour with a tan head. The aroma and flavor are fairly roasty with a lot of malt character coming through. I also get some chocolate and a bit of coffee. Thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Sample @ 6de Gents Bierfestival 2015.
