4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A thin head on a black body.
The aroma is roasted/toasted malt. Singular but good.
The taste has a mild sweetness from the roasted malt, then some burnt wood joins in for a balanced ale.
The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation and a medium to heavy body.
An enjoyable drink.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma of grape and light chocolate. There is a smooth and somewhat subdued flavor of milk and dark chocolates, grapes, and light coffee. Good mix of the flavors in an easy-drinking beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reddish brown coloured beer, with thick and quite durable head on top with some smallish lacing too. Aroma has roasted coffee, and really strong roasted malt flavors, slightly burned even. Taste has roasted malts, coffee and a hint of sweetness. Medium body with medium-to-low carbonation makes this beer easy to drink, but leaves a bit mild picture behind. Should have a bit more powerful flavors.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fresh bottle. Pours black with tall tan head. Aroma is toasted coconut, espresso, vanilla. Taste is dark roast coffee, toffee, faint dark chocolate (from the malt?). Definitely need to let this warm a bit out of the fridge. Got more and more complex as it warmed. The toasted elements are spot on. Maybe a little light for a porter but I’m used to american-style porters. Not bad at all.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very nutty nose. Creamy tan head that left a fair bit of lacing. Fairly simple in flavor, a bit bitter, a bit smoky, a bit sweet. Decent but nothing special.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma - coffee for sure, but there is also a sweet malt sort of aroma as well
Appearance - black body color; liquid is opaque; the head is a light tan, the bubbles are very tight and packed the head about 2", and slowly dissipates into a nice slice of head.
Taste - very nice roast and toasty brew. It’s a little nutty roast sort of thing, there is a little coffee quality about it as well. Very nice.
Palate - is medium; the texture is creamy; the carbonation is soft; the finish leaves a subtle roast on your teeth and gums. Nice brew for sure
