COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With clear notes of espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of authentic Icelandic coffee, this Porter is dark and rich, offering a medium body that is robust, yet smooth on the palate and easy to drink. There’s no need to be afraid of the dark anymore.

Bottled at SBWF. Mahogany colour, small head. Caramelly nose. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Mostly caramel and treacle. Low bitterness. A bit sterile and macro-ish, like the rest of the Einstök beers.

Almost opaque dark brown beer. Good size bubbly tan head. Light palate, a little crisp. Mild minerals. Smooth malt with traces of molasses and licorice. Tiny bit of lactose. Smooth finish. An okay light porter.

bottle at home ... deep black ... thin tan head ... deep dark malts ... something a bit odd about the nose ... light toffee malts ... soft bitter malts ... little coffee ... not a great porter ...

Bottle, 6.0%. Fruity aroma, hint of ashes. Black colour. Good-sized light brown head. The flavour is roasted with a little coffee and ashes. A mild porter, but nice enough.

Deep ruby color, small beige head. Aroma is burned with some dark chocolate and barnyard. Medium-bodied, soft palate. Some milky-lactose sour-sweetness, toasted maltyness. Robust porter although flavor is a bit too simple for my liking.

Bottle, bought @ Bierzwerg.de. Pours deep black with a lovely, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has roasted malts, dark chocolate, slightly metallic. A bit of hazelnuts. Medium carbonation, fine creamy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour is roasted, good dark chocolate, light grassy. Firm malty bitterness. Nice.
