With clear notes of espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of authentic Icelandic coffee, this Porter is dark and rich, offering a medium body that is robust, yet smooth on the palate and easy to drink. There’s no need to be afraid of the dark anymore.

Bottle from lonehill shared by getbetter. Dark brown pour with small chestnut head. Aroma is roasted coffee and copper. Taste is very robust and roasty with somewhat of a sweet and nutty finish. Medium body. Pretty good, much better than I thought it would be.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light toasted malt, coconut flakes and some cocoa. Flavour is dry and balanced, with toasted malt and maybe a tiny hint of coconut. Well-balanced and robust. Well-made and enjoyable.

sample at big texas beerfest Pours almost pitch black, with a light brown head. Heavily toasted aroma, malt, coffee beans, fudge, vanilla, smoke, nuts, hops. Off-dry, medium to full bodied, medium bitterness, balanced CO2. The taste is full of roasted malt, coffee beans and chocolate, quite smokey, ashes, butterscotch, hops. Nice.

I'm usually not a dark beer guy but this is amazing. Easy to drink and not heavy at all

Bottle at home. The color is deep brown to black with a compact, greyish beige head. Roasted aroma with coffee, chocolate, rye bread and hint of smoke. A little light though. More roasted malt in the flavor with more coffee beans, leather, burned wood and very dark chocolate. Some sweetness in the background. Has a rich and silky mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A well-roasted, coffee porter. Easy to drink.
