3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
A mild beer but has a ton of flavor that makes it one of very fine quality. Orange peel, nice malt and a refreshing taste makes a winner

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 33cl. An unclear, yellow-golden beer with a finger-thick white head. The aroma has a nice blend of lemon peel, orange and coriander, some wheat hints blending in. Medium body, quite effervescent and dry. Coriander, bitterness, orange peel and some lemon in the flavor, not much room for the malts. A bit short finish maybe, but overall it’s a decent witbier. 130810

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Type: 12-oz. bottle
Glass: Manzanita pint glass
From: World Market in Las Mesa (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Aug. 1, 2013
Consumed: Aug. 3, 2013
Poured a yellow straw hazy color with 1-to-2 fingers of white head. Minimal spots of lacing on the sides of the glass. Minimal-to-not retention on the top of the glass.
Smelled surprisingly skunky malts first. Also some lemon, grassy icy hops, lime, some kind of combination of Sprite, Sierra Mist and 7-Up and orange peel.
Tasted similar to the nose and, in relation, rather disappointing. The orange peel came out here first with a mix of that Sprite/Sierra Mist/7-Up soda taste. Also icy lime, wheat, grass, lemon and some fruity notes.
Light body. Thin texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, refreshing finish.
I thought this was just OK. I was expecting better, but it was missing something.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Cloudy yellow thin white head. Too cold to detect significant aroma. Bright spicy citrus flavour. Medium carbonation pleasant enough but nothing special

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from New Leaf. Hazy straw color pour with a rocky white head. Aroma is slightly sour, wheaty, and sugary orange candy spice. Favor follows with a lot or orange and spice, kind of tastes like swedish fish as well. Weird.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy golden color, head dissipates quickly leaving a relatively flat beer. The aroma is great- sweet grain, like a farm. The flavor, though, is a sharp and a little bitter- kind of like a cheese almost. It doesn’t seem very complex, or very full-bodied. A bit of a one-note beer. I wouldn’t call it a white ale, I’d call it an American Wheat ale.
