Brewed in the centuries-old Belgian tradition, our White Ale features the complex flavors of the classic witbier, including orange peel and coriander – all brewed with pure Icelandic water that delivers a cool smoothness that is flavorful and refreshingly drinkable.

I find it quite remarkable that I sit in my lounge in New Zealand, able to drink a product from Iceland. Just remarkable. Anyway, so this is hazy pale yellow in colour with a skim of transient white head. Aromas of lemons, faintly chemical Belgian ale yeast and meringue. Pleasant enough. Quite vigorous carbonation in the mouth followed by gentle flavours of those same lemons that isn’t sweet and isn’t sour either. There’s a definite but gentle tang at the beginning of the end. At face value this is a pleasant lunchtime snifter but not the most complex or assertive beer I have drunk. But still, it’s Icelandic! It has novelty value for me I suppose.

Bottle from Utobeer, Boro’ Market, London. A hazy yellow coloured pour with a small white head on top. Yeasty, coriander aroma. Tastes similar, yeasty, coriander, orange, spice. Not bad, quite refreshing. My first Icelandic beer.

From bottle at Grünerlřkka Mat & Mikro Festival 2014. Hazy yellow bdy with a decent white head. Aroma of choriander, wheat, oranges. Herbal taste with flowers, wheat, citrus fruit, a weak banana hint is all taste the yeast adds to here. Short sweet fruity aftertaste which is nice, though I think the beer really lacks all the nice yeast esters expected to find in a wit.

Bottle at Food Festival 2014. High fluffy white lasting head. Light yellow green body. Mild fruity lemon aroma. Flavor more acidic and citric than expected and the coriander could almost not be tasted. Low carbonation, short finish.

Not a big fan of white ales but when I do drink them, I like to taste some of the additives - in this car the coriander and orange peel more otherwise it drinks like an ok lager ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear pale yellow color with no head. Aroma of oat, citrus, and coriander. Citrus, coriander and oat flavor. Very easy to drink. Wish there was a bit more depth to the flavor.
