Brewed in the centuries-old Belgian tradition, our White Ale features the complex flavors of the classic witbier, including orange peel and coriander – all brewed with pure Icelandic water that delivers a cool smoothness that is flavorful and refreshingly drinkable.

I find it quite remarkable that I sit in my lounge in New Zealand, able to drink a product from Iceland. Just remarkable. Anyway, so this is hazy pale yellow in colour with a skim of transient white head. Aromas of lemons, faintly chemical Belgian ale yeast and meringue. Pleasant enough. Quite vigorous carbonation in the mouth followed by gentle flavours of those same lemons that isn’t sweet and isn’t sour either. There’s a definite but gentle tang at the beginning of the end. At face value this is a pleasant lunchtime snifter but not the most complex or assertive beer I have drunk. But still, it’s Icelandic! It has novelty value for me I suppose.

Pours up a straw color. Hazy with a relatively long lasting head. Aroma of lemon with hint of orange. Mouthfeel is is of large carbonated bubbles. Fresh summer flavor of citrus with a pleasing aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 330ml, bottle conditioned. Hazy straw colour with a small head. Aroma of fresh citrus and wheat. Flavour is lime, a little wheat, some sherbet and the faintest hint of coriander in the finish. Moderate carbonation. Not much like a Wit, but pleasant enough.

Pours light golden, cloudy from yeast. Elegant white head with decent lacing. Aroma is very delicate, coriander but not as conspicuous as I had expected. Nice balance of flavors, tangy spicy late. Smooth body, expected more mouthfeel. Very tame but drinkable, good to start an evening of beer tasting! Compare with Allagash white. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aromat: Cytrynowe i kwasowe nuty. Po chwili pojawia się pilsowa siarka. Lekkie zabarwienie pszenicą. Brak ziół, brak skórki pomarańczowej, brak goździków..... Smak: Lech Shandy pozdrawia. Tylko bardziej wysycony i z cieniem kwasowego finiszu. Wysoko wysycone i wodniste piwo. Szkoda gadać. Wypiłem na siłę.

Really white head, hazy yellow golden body, varied spots and pads on glassware. Aroma; coriander, ripe banana, dough jam, lots of wheat malts, dusty faint strawy hops, wrapped in orange notes. Taste; fruity wheat malts, mandarine, strawy hops, dough, flour, buns, fruityfruity. Didn’t detect any oat, but I guess those made that flourish part. Finishes in clementines, wheat mild malts, fine fading juicy final. Well carbonated, soft juicy in the mouth. Average body. Really alright beer. [33cl btl 5.2% T@Bardus Tromsř 13€]

Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. The aroma is orange and lemon with some spice. The flavor has the fruit and spice with a nice malt back bone. Nicely down. Drink cold and fast in the hot weather.
