Bottle: Copper golden coloured, smaller, slowly diminishing head, visible carbonation; moderate sweet-bready nose with a brandy-like touch of alcohol; sweetish flavour, but not cloying, medium bodied; sweet-malty, slightly alcoholic finish with an idea of citrousy fruitiness and some micrograms of hops in the very end. Rather one-dimensional..........

Würziger, leicht scharfer Antrunk. Nur leicht malzig, gleichzeitig aber herber wodurch die Malzigkeit in den Hintergrund verlagert wird. Im hinteren Mittelteil milder, wenig hopfig. Eher lascher Abgang, weiterhin nur wenig malzig, süßer als zuvor. In Ordnung, Durchschnitt. Test vom 13.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,8,8,7,8,8 - 7,95

(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Sweet and a bit sugar beet-like malty nose with a tinge of alcohol and a very shy traces of herbal hops. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Solid malty base with beety and light bready notes; sweet and strong malty finish with moderately alcoholic notes. Made for those who need the alcohol. I just find it one-dimensional and would rather call it an European strong Lager (08.X.08).

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (010608)

Bottle, 6.5%. Bready, slightly old aroma. Seemingly clear copper colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is quite bready, still 6 months until BB date. Sweetish flavour, in good balance with alcohol. Quite malty.

50 cL bottle, trade with Koelschtrinker. Pours clear and golden orange with a dense off-white head. Aroma is cornish and fruity, dense. Flavour is honey sweet and light herbal. Sweet, light cornish and fruity finish.

Bottle, provided by pivnizub. Amber, thick golden head. Honeyish and light sherrylike nose. Medium to light body, flavor preserves the light sherry note, apple off-flavors. Fairly low on hops - quick sweet finish.

Fruit, malt and cardboard aroma; sweetish/bitterish taste with margarine and dust aromas; bitter finish with dust and hop aromas. A bittersweet bock spoilt by a hop extract taste.
