COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Eisenbahn Lust is the first beer in Brazil produced by the "champnoise" method. After the normal fermentation and maturation in the brewery, the liquid is sent to a winery, where it stays for three months and passes by the traditional process of champagne production. It has fruit aroma and refreshing flavor. Presents fine and plentiful "perlage". It is ideal as appetizer and for pairing with dessert and great celebrations!

Very unique and very good. This beer would fit well in to several styles, and is very much like a barleywine. Malty aroma. Very carbonated, which I expected from the description. Flavor has champagne yeast, sugar, surprisingly brown sugar, and light alcohol flavor but a warming alcohol palate. Probably not worth the $25, but unique and very good anyway.

UPDATED: JUN 12, 2007 Rating #600! An exceptionally massive head on this light gold pour. Small amount of sediment. Sweet grape and citrus nose. Sweet malty body with a lightly smoked character to it. Light crisp mouthfeel that was exceptionally smooth. Bottle purchased from the Cellars

Pours a pilsnery golden with a huge fizzy white head. Nice melon and citrus on the nose. Very carbonated nose. The dryness is like that of a blanc de blanc, but the sweetness is not there it is more of a grainy character Nice smokey edge to it as well.. Very unique and worth a shot.

I gave this one a shot because of it’s uniqueness I tried this one in a champagne glass because of the methods used in brewing....it had a nice slightly fruity aroma...kind of a peachy/apricot. It had a nice light amber color with a champange like head. The cabonation was like that of a good champagne small bubbles...very nice.....it had a nice flavor slightly sweet and malty with a touch of sourness. Some hints of spice, anise. It finishes dry with the 11.5% alcohol not being noticable.

Bottle. A nice treat. A hazed golden color with a white head. Smokey and sweet with a syrupy finish. Nicely spiced with a sparkling champagne character that finishes with a lightly sour, yeasty, fruitiness. Thanks to the bachelor party crew for this one!

This dark blonde ale poured with a bubbly white head - very sparkling and effervescent. This is a unique brew, unlike anything I have had before. The flavor is complex - quite fruity, malty and sweet with a dry finish. The alcohol is not very noticeable. I really enjoyed this one.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a huge fluffy white head. The aroma is lightly fruity with a bit of breadiness and some spice. Flavor has a slight sweetness which develops to a light, teasingly dry, finish.

Bottle from River’s Bend. Poured hazy dark yellow with an average creamy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex yeast sour citrus aroma. Light to medium body with active carbonation. Medium sweet citrus flavor with a medium balanced finish of moderate duration. This is a smooth complex beer.

Pulled the trigger on this last week and let it sit. Fridge temp after all week in the cellar, in a Malheur glass. Beautiful pour, great carbonation and a bit of a meringue head, bright golden color, lots of bubbles. Amazingly fresh aroma, some dough and some anise, a lot of great belgian yeast character. But the flavors really let me down; fatiguingly sweet with not enough pepper or anise to clear it out, even got buttery and meaty and with a bit of diacetly presence when warm. Bummer.

Bottle 750 ml. This beer is made by the champnoise method, so it seems like a champgne. Tall head and highly cabonated. Aroma is fruity. Taste is fruity and malty. Very nice mouthfeel. Very well balanced sweetness, cabonation, medium body. Very nice beer.
