Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Mild yeasty and light spiced aroma. Flavour is sweet malty with a light rubbery/smoked flavour. Solid citric sweet flavour following. Mild yeasty note lurking through. Ends mellow yeasty and citric. Light bitter flavour into the finish. thornecb (975), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Jun 19, 2008 Updated: Jun 23, 2008Needed a wrench to pull the cork. Once the cork pops the ale explodes and spews volcanically a deep amber into a flute. Had to cap to keep from gushing as it sat. Medium sized head receded to skim surface. Sweet pit fruit from front to back with a lasting alcohol finish. Heavily carbonated, but refreshing palate. Lots of floaties toward the end of the bottle.
