Eisenbahn’s South American Pale Ale is well-balanced, with sweet wholesome malt, and earthy complexity, and a uniquely spicy aroma that results from a special, and secret, blend of Old and New World hops.

Bottle. Light brown colored body with some rusty tones, small, fast dissipating white head. Leaves almost no traces it was there, no lacing or very much foam. Watery and oily looking. Not very appetizing. Nose is rubbing alcohol, citrus fruits, maybe some floral hops but not much else, really not the nose I am looking for in an APA. Flavor is a bit better, but still has some sharpness from whatever is giving the rubbing alcohol sensation, then some perfume hops and weak citrus tones. No bitterness, no bite, nothing that is forward at all. Get a wave of sweet malts in the background, but even that is relatively weak. Light bodied, almost watery, no heft, boring. Bland finish, watery and forgettable. Avoid.

This leaves something to be desired. Its refreshing, smooth on the palate. Tastes slightly bitter, very faint citric touch. It has a balanced, even taste. Aroma is weak, slightly sweet. This is a good beer but lacks imagination.

Draft at SIB07. German brewery in Brazil apparently. Fairly thin and a bit watery but hints of hops, straw, and even a touch of dirt.

Una pale ale non esageratamente luppolata e dal gusto poco complesso, lascia intuire delle note terrose che si intrecciano con i malti e una punta erbacea.

Aroma de caramelo com leve lúpulo. Coloração âmbar claro com creme branco e médio. No sabor, o dulçor do malte com amargor presente. Retrogosto levemente seco. Parecida com a Devassa Ruiva.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of light floral hops, some pale and caramel malts, and dough. Flavor the same. Average to light texture. A decent attempt at a pale ale for another country, but no HF Edward or NEBCO Galaxy Pale or Zombie Dust, obviously.
