Das Eiswerk 1881, welches an die Gründung des Eiswerks in der Au erinnern soll, ist ein bernsteinfarbenes Märzen, das mit feiner Malz- und Karamellnote nicht nur im samtig weichen Abgang Bierkunst aufs Feinste zelebriert. Zutaten: Brauwasser, Gerstenmalz (Pilsner Malz, Karamellmalz, Münchner Malz), Hopfen (Hallertauer Tradition), Hefe; Stammwürze: 13.5 % .

bottle, thank you very much kappldav123! Hazy amber-golden colour, white head. Light-bodied, malt-accented with a shy touch of aromatic hops. Much lighter than expected.

Bottle looks really, really good. Beer in the glass copper-brownish, nice head. Spicy aroma. Starts milder than exspected, spicy notes, modest dry. More and more moldy-soapy. Finish a bit unbalanced. Okay, but nothing really special.

Nice unusual bottle. BB 21. March 13 Bottle No. 339 from a limited Edition Aroma: caramel, bread, citrus, herbs, honey Dark golden / amber color, clear and with a minimal white head. Taste: medium sweetness, lightly bitter. Palate: medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation. Quite expensive (3,50 € per 0,33 l bottle)
