Strong golden, sparkling beer with a high head. Smells of wonderful aroma hops. Starts with aroma hops and lots of bitter hops, very grassy, with grainy nuances in Background. The central part shows much more grainy aroma, the malt fades into the background. Sweet hoppy, grainy finish.

Durchschnittlich.Test vom 10.3.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo! Golden color. Sweet honeyish and flowery aroma. Sweet malty and honeyish flavor with restrained fruity hops. Rounded and fairly full bodied. Simple but drinkable basic helles.

(bottle) pours a clear pale yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of floral hops and hay, quite understated, with a tiny hint of cardboard. flavour is more on the grainy side of things, with a slightly astringent light herbal-hoppy finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle, at Dachsbau, Krefeld. Sold in stein as Schlossbrauerei Mariabrunn Münchner Hell, I have no reason to believe it’s a new beer, so rated it here. It’s a slightly hazy, golden beer with a rocky white head. Weak nose, malty and fruity. Sweet, malty flavor with caramel notes and some dried fruits and sourness. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Some alcohol warmth in the finish. A rather boring one, also slightly unclean, and lacking bitterness. Still, a quenching beer that was far from awful. 091010
