It’s hazy golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of bread, fruit and malt. The flavor has a light/moderate sweetness with lovely floral notes with notes of straw, malt and bread too. The finish is fairly dry.

Hopfig-herber Geruch mit getreidigen Spuren. Moderat hopfig im Antrunk. Der Mittelteil geht süßlich-aromatischer über die Zunge, durchaus angenehm. Abgangs getreidig und nur leicht bitter. In Ordnung.Test vom 18.3.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bottle (333ml): Clear, pale golden, small and stable white head; wet paper, small amounts of pale malt plus some grassy hops in the nose; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; short, dry, rather unharmonic bitter-sweet finish. Not so good.........

MoritzF (8250) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAR 29, 2009
(33cl bottle) Clear, golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Slightly sweet and soft grainy malty aroma with delicate citrus-fruity and herbal hoppy notes. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Dry malty, slightly grainy taste with a moderate herbal hops-character; dry and bitter-sweet finish with traces of metal. Decent German Pilsener (29.III.09).

Quack-Duck (7523) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 11, 2009
bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear yellow colour, large white head. Hoppy nose. Full-bodied, pleasant malty background with good spicy-resiny-herbal hops. Not too bitter, a good example of a South German Pils.
