(bottle) pours a clear ruby-orange colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of grass, cornflakes and powdered sugar, with light notes of smoked ham, dark fruit and caramel. flavour is roasted malts, milk chocolate and caramel, also slightly composty. thin body with average carbonation.

The beer in the glass shining dark brown with slightly reddish touch. Smells like sweet and dark malts. Starts with lots of roasted malts, a slight sweetness comes through. Finish is malty bitter, with roasted coffee and hints of chocolate!

Im Geruch süßlich-fruchtig und leicht malzig. Süßliche Spitzen im Antrunk. Im Mittel hopfiger aromatisch. Leider wird dieser gute Eindruck alsbald etwas verwässert. Am Ende bitterer und moderat malzig.

A robust dunkel for sure. Thick roasty notes combine with earthy hops for an easy drinking dunkel.

Bottled. Very deep rubyish amber brown colour, mediumsized off-white to beige head, leaves slight lace. Aroma is mild roasted notes, some mild syrupy notes giving a certain wooden and semisweet note. Also quite big on the malts and dark dry fruits. Flavour is rather similar in a very nice balance. Tastes almost a bit Porterlike....

Clear dark amber with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and breadish notes. Flavour was sweet and had roasted malt, caramel and chocolate notes. Finished sweet. Nice.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a clear golden orange glare with a small off-white head. Aroma is crisp hoppy and roasted malty. Roasted malty, bitter and dry flavoured. Lingering roasted malty flavoured finish.

Taste is sweet malts, nicely paired with some good bitter hop, ends spicey and dry.

Clear medium red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, nutty notes, dark bread notes, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090605]
