On tap @ Bølgen & Moi. This is a light cloudy dark peach-orange one with a small somewhat lacing off-white head. The nose? Where is it? It’s really really low on the aroma and hard to get anything without swirling the glass heavily (not an easy operation in these wine glasses filled to the max). Some sweet fruitiness with traces of both seafood and.. Well, nothing more really, and I’m not even sure the seafood aroma comes from the glass.. Been a while since I’ve nosed such a low-nosable IPA. Could it be really old perhaps? It has a above average almost fizzing carbonation level and a soft oily mouthfeel. 8.2% you say huh? Hardly noticable - at least on the mouthfeel. A bit almost thin and sticky at the same time. It’s not sweet in any way, but strong grassy-bitter. Something I have noticed in all these brews. It’s also dry with very little sweetness and a near pungent bitterness. Quite mouthdrying in the aftertaste. This again is not a beer I have to try again to be honest. 11.01.2013

Foffern (728) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 4, 2013
On tap at Bølgen & Moi, Bergen. The colour is hazy light orange with a off-white creamy medium head. Has a fresh and fruity flavour with fruity hops, citrus and grains. The flavour mirrors the aroma with a touch of alcohol. Nice. Has a rich and soft mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. A good, fresh and easy-drinking DIPA.

ClubGonzo (2692) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 22, 2012
On tap @ Bølgen & Moi, Bergen. Pours a hazy straw-yellow-orange body with a small creamy white head. Nose is intense lemony citric peel notes which sort of border on herbal lemon balm-ish tones, mixed with dense almond-like nutty caramel tones in the back. Hints of flowers and apricot. Original and pretty nice. Taste is bitter herbal citric tones, bubble gum, herbs, hints of grass and banana. Medium to full body and medium carbonation. Original, and quite drinkable as well as likeable.
