The IBU (International Bittering Units) are around the 40IBU mark.

Bottle, handwritten date is appreciated - 3 weeks old and half of that was a my place. Clear pale amber with a white head. Aroma of kumquats, lime, mango, grass, a little caramel, pine. Light bodied, getting towards watery. OTOH, it’s very soft in the mouth. Carbonation is gentle. Bright fruity flavours - citrus and supporting tropical - a little pine in a bitter finish that creeps up a bit. Agreeable low-key beer that hits the spot pretty well.

330ml bottle dated 9/9/13. Now 5.4% ABV. Deep amber body with decent white head and lacing. Passionfruit, oranges, some pine and malt grains on the nose and tongue with a medium citrussy hop bitterness. An easy drinking well crafted and balanced APA.

Love the simplicity of the label, love the tight aroma and bright, sourish hops on the palate. This is a strange one and goes against the grain of most of the pale ales on the market. It starts off with a persistent dollop of white atop a hazed, pastel orange body. Bright, fruity and tart nose showing under-ripe honeydew, lime zest, grapefruit and desert lime pulp with an underlying biscuity sweetness. Light malt front overpowered by quenching, tart and tight hops and yeasty notes. Sour, bitter fruit and rough pine backend precedes a fresh citrus finish that fades rapidly. Body is light but its firm presence and soft and creamy feel give it a weight beyond its gravity. Quite impressive; one I’ll have to grab a hold of fresh bottled!! (33cL, Bottled 19/11/12, 5.4% ABV, Cellarbrations Carlisle)

330ml bottle from Warners at the Bay Bottle Shop. Strong sunshine orange colour with a level head. A little spritzy and lively in the mouth. Okay without being great.

330mL bottle with hand written ABV and bottling date. Pours a slightly cloudy golden hue with a small white head and an wonderful toffee/grass/citrus zest aroma. Hop dominated flavour that has an intense grapefruit like punch to it. Very impressed (bottled Novem 2012)

Bottle. Pours lightly hazed orange gold with big tight creamy off white head. Off-beat mix of aromas close, but distant to your typical APA aroma showcasing - lemons, lime, pine, other orange citrus, grain, light malt, earthen yeast, dough. Light medium body, med-high carbonation, generous bitterness - light hop flavour, but refreshing nature finishing with a light grassy pine citrus with a balance of the malt.

Bottle date of 21/11/11 5.7 ABV A-- Poured a hazy, nearly opaque, orange amber color. One finger dirty white head. Sticks around a good while before settling to a nice looking soapy film with a good collar. No lacing with this. S-- Dirty grapefruit, orange, lemon and passion fruit. Big malt backbone. T-- A mixture of orange marmalade, pineapple, passion fruit, burnt toffee, and somewhat soapy. M-- Kind of all over the board. Thin in spots, under carbonated, and lacks balance. Finishes well, a pungent orange and sour grapefruit but lacking a spark that carbonation has for it. Needs to be crisper. O-- Have had some really good and some really not so good batches. lots of batch variation with this. Good looking and good smelling beer but lacks a lot in the taste and feel.
