This is a dark and sexy beer (yep, ’sexy’: we think 9.2 % is down-right raunchy) and so we named it after the Nordic goddess of the underworld, ’HEL’. The beer pours black as sin, with a dense, long-lasting head. The aromas reveal
burnt sugar and subtle roast, balanced by some heady citrus and pine notes. The mouth reveals a seriously smooth, but ballsy beer. The significant bitterness is perfectly balanced by uplifting passionfruit/citrus/pine flavours from the intense dry hopping, and deep, rich, toffee

Fruity aroma, surprisingly hoppy for a black IPA, mild roasted flavours, very sessionable which dangerous for such a strong beer. Well worth a try if you like your black IPA’s on the hoppy side.
