COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This world-famous beer has the character and richness to stand in for fine sherry or port. Just the right degree of sweetness - never cloying; wonderfully aromatic and warming. EKU 28 is the one whenever something good and strong is needed.

(Söderbärke 2007) Golden color, no head. Malty aroma, vinous, oily, raisins, syrup. Raisin flavor, vinous and malty. Quite a nice bock!

Bottle- CHef Paul’s. 11% hits you right away. No head- aroma of maple syrup, with some whiskey / brandy notes. Slight bitterness to it, tart apple? But sweetness dominates the palate. Rich and thick. Very unique.

Pours dark brown with small head. Aroma is incredibly sweet. Definate syrup in sweetness. Flavor is strong malt sweetness. Lots of Alcohol. I like it but a half bottle would be plenty. Good for an after dinner drink.

Dark copper liquid under dark tan head, Vicks 44 comes to mind, as the palate is vaguely cherry flavored booze. Sometimes more is just more. Not for me.

Flaske. Meget gennemtrængende alkohol i denne ellers meget flotte rødlige øl. Godt bid i enden, men en klart dominerende maltsmag med toner af mandel. Men ellers er der ikke meget godt at sge om denne øl.

Originally received a 4.15 from me on 11/21/03. Thick and syrupy, a raisin and plum extravaganza. Still, quiet. Cloying and hard to finish. Bombastic alcohol fire. And after all that, I found it a wonderful experience and would do it again easily!

12oz bottle, Amber hue with frothy tan head, very sweet, similar to Dogfish Raison d’etre, overly sweet, decent sweet aromatic, very stong, could not drink more than 1 because of sugars.

5/1/05 12oz. Amber with quick dissipating off white head. Syrupy sweet aroma. Some fruity malts. Flat and cloying.
