aroma is as says on bottle and description of a heavy wine. the look of the beer is a little bland, it tastes a little gross and I would have to say the best part of this brew is the alchol that it contains

Can courtesy of Piscator34: Poured a deep burgundy color beer with a small off-white foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of sweet cookie dough with some dry plums was very interesting and enjoyable. Some sweet cookie malt with some plums and dry figs characteristics, which made this very enjoyable, also dominated taste. Body is a bit light and alcohol was not overly pronounced. Not exactly sure why this is getting such low ratings – I though it was a well craft eisbock.

Slightly dark colour, malt aroma. Bit of crowning white head. Little bitterness.I found this more malty drinkable than the Austrian eisbocks, although still an egg yolk taste in it. Surprisingly high alcohol content that was well hidden. Thanks Biegaman.

11.2oz, no date. Pours a clear copper orange with a one finger fading light yellow head. Very sweet aroma consisting of nuts, maple syrup, brown sugar, raisins, light alcohol and cardboard. Taste is much the same--too much alcohol and too sweet. Has some straight bitterness with no discernible hops. Syrupy body, mod carbonation.

Strong beer that reminds me of the Danish ’47’ beer. Nice smooth and ritch flavor, with a bit of bitter ending. Can’t drink to much of this beer. Good to share with a friend...:-)

Big malts, very sweet, but with a potent alcoholic finish that somewhat detracts from the beer.

On tap at Papago in Tempe. My first eisbock. Smoother than expected. Semi sweet body, with fruitiness i would attribute to the yeast. Was told it was 12 percent on tap.
