A very prevalent sweet malted flavor, caramel nuts and so on- clear copper colour with a small sized white head. This beer is strong for the price and i recommend trying it.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 NachlamSie (2077) - Tennessee, USA - MAY 29, 2006
bottle. Pours an amber color with minimal head. The aroma is sweet like caramlized sugar. This brew definitely walks the line of being too sweet, but doesn’t quite become excessive. The caramelly sweetness is thick and sticky. The finishes is semi earthy and brings out slight notes of bark. Pretty straight forward brew here, drinkable enough.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 bitbucket (2072) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - FEB 4, 2007
Bottle from Malt of the Earth. Pours a clear bright amber with a large but fading white head. Full body with rather full carbonation. Lightly malty aroma. Sweet taste of caramel and fruit. Warming and lightly bitter finish. I’d be willing to trade a little less alcohol for a little more complexity and balance.

Pours like the picture. Nose is malt heavy and sweet with raisin, brown sugar, and alcohol. Flavor is similar, a little saltier, heavily sweet and sugary, more alcohol. Medicinal with warmth. Syrupy body, short finish of bread and alcohol. Decent, but a little one sided.

Small tan head, fades quickly. Clear amber color. Malty, fruity, alcoholly nose. Full bodied, slick mouthfeel. sweet malt flavors. Hints of chocolate and anise with the alc. being fairly evident, warming as it goes down. Finish is sweet and bitter at the same time.

Bottle bought in Belgium. Pours orange, no head. Syrupy but not really cloying, alcohol is well hidden. Nice.

bottle courtesy of JohnathanL. Thanks!
Pours a bright clear copper color. Smell is clean, with alcohol and caramel. Fairly delicate aroma. Taste is creamier caramel and fairly sweet and buttery. Butterscotch like sweetness about it, and a touch cloying in more than small amounts, yet not bad. More dessert beer like than casual drinker.

Holy Malt Batman!!! and malt and malt, did I mention malt? oh and alcohol...not extremely well balanced and sort of anti-climatic considering I've been hording this bottle for 6 months, but quite impressive regardless, reminiscant of a double bock, but without the character.Extremely warming, I'm only half way through it and it's not only caught up with me but passed and me and kicked me in the shins as it went by.
