COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This world-famous beer has the character and richness to stand in for fine sherry or port. Just the right degree of sweetness - never cloying; wonderfully aromatic and warming. EKU 28 is the one whenever something good and strong is needed.

bottle. Dark amber. Medium white head, disinegrates into lacing. Malty aroma. Super malty sweet taste, some hops. Slight alcohol burn. Tons better than Anheuser World Select. I love Eisbocks

Poured a clear, dark amber with an off white head that mostly lasted and left good lacing. The aroma was heavy caramel, lots of alcohol, some fruitiness and whiskey notes. The initial flavor was moderately sweet, Malty while the finish was Caramel and a little hot alcohol. Pretty good, Med to heavy body. Kinda like a good Double bock should.

This poured a very clear and attractive deep amber-brown color with fat and foamy white head that left moderate lacing rings in the glass. Nose was of malts, caramel, fruits, and mild hops. Mouthfeel was very riich and flavors mostly malts and fruit. The alcohol was hiden nicely, and the finish was mediium to long. Great beer. Not sure how I missed this on up to now.

Clear deep bronze and despite an A1 pour it has no head what-so-ever. Aroma is as you’d expect sweet caramely and alcoholic, taste is sweet and malty but with a slight harsh finish and the cold tea appearance it looses points.

A very nice dark amber in color. This is a very pleasent dark malty beer. Very drinkable where dark sweet caramel and malty goodness abound.

Rich and warming, lovely red-amber pour with aroma of molasses, and cognac, rich full-bodied flavor invoking coffee, chocolate tootsie-pop, allspice, and brown sugar. Long sweet-toasty finish.

11.2 fl oz. Poured a decent, short lasting head. Clear and light brown. Smells like alcohol, malts, and sugar. Has a thin but syrupy feel; def. sweet and w/ noticable alcohol warmth, which burns a bit in the finish. Really enjoyed it and found it perfect for sipin’, Has a very similar taste to their other eisbock, but much more light and drinkable.

Bottle. Pours with an amber color and a fairly small head. The aroma is dominated by malts and caramel. Flavor is sweet, the alcohol is noticeable, and agains a very dominat malitness that is no offset by any hops. It could be cloying if drank too warm but with the right temperature it is quite nice.
