COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This world-famous beer has the character and richness to stand in for fine sherry or port. Just the right degree of sweetness - never cloying; wonderfully aromatic and warming. EKU 28 is the one whenever something good and strong is needed.

(3/10/08) Bottle at Delirium Cafe in Brussels. Best before 4/4/09. Clear amber with lively carbonation and a slowly-diminishing off-white head. Aroma of a lot of malt and caramel. Sweet flavor of malt, caramel and some alcohol. Medium to full-bodied. Great stuff but a bit too much alcoholic feel.

Dark amber color with a port nose. Carmel mouth and very sweet malt. A surprisingly good brew.

pretty boozy, but also smoother than you’d expect at 11%. This was closer to a port than a beer, but pretty good.

33cl. bottle at Cervecería Seny, in Madrid. It pours a clear dark amber liquid with a low white head that dissipates completely and leaves no lacing. The aroma is very malty, with hints of caramel and nuts, and a little syrup. It tastes likewise, with a high sweetness and a low bitterness. The alcohol is perfectly blended (11 ABV!) and is hard to notice. It has lively but pleasant carbonation and a medium body, ending dry with a sweet malty aftertaste. Ok presentation for a pleasant and tasty eisbock.

Eku 28 on kuparin värinen ja muodostaa valkoista vaahtoa. Tuoksu on makean maltainen, hedelmäinen ja alkomainen. Maku on makea ja hedelmäinen. Alkoholin potku suussa on tuntuva. Paksua litkua. Melko paljon potkua tästä tosiaan löytyy. Jos Eku olisi pornotähti olisi sillä 28 senttiä pitkä.
