Bottle. Dark copper colored. Very sweet flavor with a light spiciness. The malt characteristics where very complex and the alcohol was very high.

12 OZ bottle via LIQUID sOLUTIONS. Pours a crystal clear amber with a large beige head. Aroma is very mellow with mostly just vanilla and toffee and perhaps some fruity melon. Wow this is sweet tasting...cloying...starts with a LOT of molasses, then some cherries, vanilla, raisins, and ends about as sweet as it started. Thin bodied. Some rummy alcohol present in the finish.Moderate to high carbonation. Not bad but would be better with more body and if it was not filtered.

On tap at Papago in Tempe. My first eisbock. Smoother than expected. Semi sweet body, with fruitiness i would attribute to the yeast. Was told it was 12 percent on tap.

Bottle; the world needs more eisbocks. Poured a clear amber color; not much head, but really nice looking. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel, grapes, alcohol and sweet malt. I could see the love/hate on this one, although to me it wasn’t extremely flavorful. However, it was a solid, malty beer. Caramel gives way to a burst of alcohol and dark fruit. A lingering toffee like presence in the finish. Not too much alcohol warming, which was a tad surprising, although the alcohol was always evident.

Strong caramel malt aroma. Clear orange color with a small white head. Sweet throughout this one. Mild alcohol burn in the finish. Moderately thick palate.

Bottle, pours dark amber with a quickly billowing white head that disappears almost immediately. No lacing, but wine-like legs form on the side of the glass. Nose is caramel, stewed figs, sugar. Taste is spicy, with cherries, whisky, and charred lamb. Boozy, hot finish. Definitely not everyone’s cup of tea, but I enjoyed it.
