33 cl. Clear copper-orange with a lasting film of creamy foam. Nose of corn, grass and molasses. Flavor is caramel, grain, hay, peppery wood and cherry liqueur. Near-medium body is smooth, alcohol-dried and chest-warming. Give this one a chance; it gets better the further you delve.

Bottle poured a clear tarnished copper with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of prune, raisin, carmel, molasses and pepper. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a earming finish. Flavors of prune, raisin, fig, brown sugar and pepperr with a smooth warming lingering sweet malty finish.

Rich amber color and modest head. Sweet, with thick body. Hops very light vs. malt sweetness.

Amber, with a thin head. Heavy, sweet malt aroma, with evident alcohol. Heavy, thick and sweet.

330 ML bottle in Germany. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t this used to be about 13%? Anyway, it is one of the better beers at being able to handle the high alcohol content. At one time this was the Strongest beer in the world. Times have changed. The original ice beer!

The aroma reminds of bourbon or whiskey or rum - liquor at any rate. The appearance is a rumlike hue. The palate is strangely reminiscent of a tawny port - sweet, slightly cloying, with a lingering sweet aftertaste. Nice, but probably too sweet and too strong to be a staple.

Bottle Poured pale red orange with a medium white head. Aroma of raisins, malt and alcohol. Full body, with a malty note and a raisiny tinge, . Then comes in an unpleasant alcohol burn and an oily note to the finish.

Bottle. Sweet malt, portwine and alcohol aroma aroma. Clear orangeamber colour with beige head. Sweet spicy flavour with plenty of malt, ripe fruits and except for the carbonation sherry character.
