JanLaursen (2731) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 9, 2012
Partyfass, 5 l - bbd 09.05.12. Only slightly unclear golden colored with a huge foamy white head. Fruity aroma of bread and light citrus with notes of yeast and very weak hints of banana. Medium sweet flavour of citrus with light yeasty notes and weak spices. Medium body, oily texture, average to lively carbonation, fruity finish. Drinkable, but not much hefe here, not much temper either.

As the dunkel version...a retro rate, but my notes say this is "pale & refreshing"

   AROMA 8/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 14/20
Dorqui (2056) - Brescia, ITALY - MAR 15, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 16, 2007 Draught at Ludwin’s Barten (Brescia) [5,4%].
Much creamy and foamy head, optimal persistence. Lightly orange/yellow hazy color, much torbid and impenetrable one. Much redolent and fresch aroma; agreeable notes of corns, straw and hay. Very prickly and racy taste with a balanced and spiced full body. Light alcoholic and bitter notes. Long and enduring final.

bierkoning (9826) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - MAY 31, 2005
Tap, Gasthof Grüner Baum, Bad Staffelstein. Golden color with a touch of orange. Cloudy. Orange, banana, clove and a bit of glue in the flavor. A bit flat and uneventful. Bottle conditioning should bring up more flavors and aroma’s
