UPDATED: FEB 12, 2012 Bottle from Systembolaget i Strømstad. Yellow colour with a white head. A very uncomplex german beer. But a nice and easy drinkable lager. Mild malty and hoppy flavour and aroma.

Golden yellow color, medium bubbly aspect. Limpid and clear with a discreet head. Alcoholic and not much balanced aroma. Notes of dampen cereals and stum. Elevated alcoholic perception, much bitter with a warm and mellow final.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear pale yello, fair sized head. Mild grassy nose. Dryish despite an underlying malt sweetness. The mouthfeel is relaxed, clean and rounded. There are notes of paper and butter and the bitterness is low. A refreshing helles with clean flavour profile.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ungstrup (23960) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 23, 2009
Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet with dusty notes of hops, malt, and caramel.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 austone (1062) - Turku; Pori, FINLAND - DEC 1, 2008
Sparkling golden, foaming pale head. Nose is neutral, little cardboardy malts and hayish hops. Dull. Hayish flavor, honey, malts and alcohol. Quite crisp, but still plain boring. Light bodied, strong carbonation. Slightly better than basic bulk, but just very sterile.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - NOV 3, 2008

Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mf. Strawy, malt-accented taste; rather dry sweet-bitter finish. Without flaws, just a bit boring (24.X.08).

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Muggus69 (878) - Newcastle, NSW, AUSTRALIA - SEP 10, 2008
Glass poured fresh from 5L keg. Perfectly clear pale gold body with sizeable white foam leaving sparce lace. Grainy malt nose, bit of honey and floral hops, nothing wrong but not alot happening. Reasonable carbonation, slightly thin body and texture. More grainy malt on the body, bit bready and corn-like, bit of spicy hops towards a dry, medium bitter finish. Average sort of quaffing German Helles, unremarkable at best.
