COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A truly great Pils, a little maltier and more ‘Bavarian’ than the rest. The 6-packs are brand new for the American market.

Aroma: Hay, light grainy sweetness, light herbal hop presence. Appearance: Light, still gold pour with a solid, fluffy white head. Flavor: Light sweet grains with a peppering of herbal hops toward the finish; dries out rather nicely with the expected hop perfume. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Overall: Nice to have this on tap; very drinkable beer with a feel of authenticity.

11.2 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass showing a bright & clear, light gold color, with a nice display of rising bubbles, not a very lasting layer of frothy, white head foam, and some transparency to the thin but clingy, web-like lacing. The aroma was a typical lager nose, with Pils malt, some straw, and negligible hints of sulphur & DMS. The only sweetness throughout was a bit of wafer/cookie scent. Light bodied, with lively effervescence, a moderate, somewhat earthy hop bitterness, with some lingering quality, was key to the flavor. Crisp & clean, with compatible dryness hooking up with the bitterness in the finish. A very sessionable Pils.

clear, light golden color, with delicate white lacing. it’s got that classic german pils malt aroma. solid medium body. rich malt flavors dominate, with a smooth, clean finish, a hint of bitterness. malty aftertaste fades gently.

Clear Yellow, Small Head That Dissipates Quickly turning in to lots of light Lacing. Watery and sweet up front, lightly hoppy bitter finish. Refreshing. OK.

This is a fine example of a Bavarian Pilsener. NIce bright golden color, great foam retention, good bitterness and a bit of a hop aroma. NIce and soft and clean, you can drink it by the bucket. This is one of the beers that American microbrewers never get right. One of the finest Pilseners imported from Germany.
