COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A truly great Pils, a little maltier and more ‘Bavarian’ than the rest. The 6-packs are brand new for the American market.

Bottle. Skunky. Nothing really special. Thin and junky. Then again it says "malt liquor" on the bottle...

Pours a bright gold into a shaker. Fluffy, bright white micro head. Apple and flower aromas. Full and fruity with a slightly bitter lasting finish.

Bottle. Not the best pilsner by a long shot, rather average. It pours yellow with a decent head. Aromas are what one would expect, a mustiness, grain and a hint of bread. The flavor is where this one comes short. Its mouthfeel is too thin, and it is just too bitter and even a bit alcoholic.

Looks like a pilsener, smells like a pilsener, tastes like a pilsener! Fairly weak on the palate; slightly sugary. I’d rate this an ok pilsener, just below pilsener urquell.

Bottle. Clear light gold. Mostly lasting head. Bready, slightly sweet malt aroma with hay or straw in the background. Starts off OK, with malt and lemony hop pils flavor, but finishes, or I should say degenerates into a metallic and chemical aftertaste. A little watery as well. Overall just not that enjoyable. The label strangely identifies this as malt liquor. As the ABV is only 5%, I guess this classification is due to the sub-par quality.

ELPADRINO (70) - The Woodlands, Texas, USA - SEP 4, 2006
Pours pale thin yellow with large white head. Light sweet malts with a light bitter aftertaste. All tastes are light on this one b/c it’s pretty watery. Nothing special.

Clear, bright gold color, topped by an initially thick head which leaves a touch of lacing as it falls back into the beer. A little too watery.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2006 12 oz bottle from Malt of The Earth Club. Huge foamy lingering white head with A LOT of lace. Clear pale yellow color. Like most Pils, not much aroma. Some bready yeast and a little grain and hop smell. Moutfeel is THIN with a light finish, just like most pilsners. This beer has little flavor. Good Pilsner beer for a hot summer day.
