4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is a fine example of a Bavarian Pilsener. NIce bright golden color,
great foam retention, good bitterness and a bit of a hop aroma. NIce and
soft and clean, you can drink it by the bucket. This is one of the beers that
American microbrewers never get right. One of the finest Pilseners imported from Germany.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
EKU Pils has a thin, white head, with big and quickly dissipating bubbles, a mostly clear, bubbly, golden appearance, and no lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, slightly-turned barley malt (the beer might be old), tangy hops, and cracker. Taste is of the same, with light hop bitterness at the end. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and EKU Pils finishes crisp, refreshing, and mild. Overall, this is a good beer, and I think it’s worth checking out. RJT
