A truly great Pils, a little maltier and more ‘Bavarian’ than the rest. The 6-packs are brand new for the American market.

Roasty bitter start. Decent Head some lacing. Bready/spicy undertones contained within this one. Not bad. Not my favorite either.

Perfumey nose. Light golden colour. White head. Like said before, very typical german pils. I feel like this has a great body, and is a a perfect rendition of the style. Herbal finish. Refreshing and crisp, a nice pilsner indeed. Delicate and sophisticated.

Not very impressed with this one. Grassy aroma, minimal carbonation. Slight bitterness initially, quickly fades. Finish has a skunky element.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2006 Draft, pleasant surprise. Very floral aroma, bit of graininess, typical golden color, decent lacing from head. The taste was of light malts, with a nice blast of hops on the finish, dry at the end. Quite fresh tasting, more pronounced hops than expected. Glad to find this on tap, worth trying. NOTE: bottled version far breadier, hops barely show up here. Draft is a much superior beer.

Appearance is golden lager fare. Aroma is some hops and grass. Flavor is clean with some hop bitterness and a little malt but rather unimpressive. If you are looking for a complex hoppy pilsner keep on looking, if you are looking for something to refresh you on a hot day, then look no further. Basically a pretty good pilsner a step above Heineken/Becks/St.Pauli Girl. Other brewers of Bohemian and German Pilsners should put thier beer in brown bottles like these guys do!

This is what heineken wishes it was. bitter aroma. medium to light body awashed in bitterness and crispness. the finish was bitter, leaves a lot of hop flavors sticking to the tongue, kind of likechewing the pellets raw.

Weak aroma, bitter and metallic. Dark yellow clear with white wispy lacing head. Medium body and carb. Well-balanced malts and hops, not big. Finish is a bit bitter but pleasant. After is light bitter.

hopscotch (10532) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 19, 2003
Sparkling clear, very pale yellow lager. Large, rocky, mostly lasting white head. The nose is of honey, pepper and apricot. Sweet, tart and citrusy up front, the flavor is balanced by moderately bitter hops on the backside. Hints of mint and honey. Light-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, bitter finish. A good pils!

Clear yellow body topped by a big white head. Aroma is fairly sweet, apple, cereal, some floral, light grassy. Taste is grassy, apple. Finish is medium grassy. Watery light/medium body, slight crispness.
