Very solid and very drinkable: beer flies when it tastes good. A light, translucent golden body with a medium white head which quickly diminishes into a minimal lingering head. Taste is sweet malts, especially for a pilsner, although not with a slight bitter aftertaste.

draft from a small 5L keg. Pours gold with long lasting, foamy white head. Sweet aroma of honey, grain. Light in body and carbonation, but not in a watery sense. Flavor delivers a grassy, floral hop profile balanced by malts which impart a honey like sweetness. Not a bad pilsner, but not great, and will not revisit.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 fidelis83 (1261) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - SEP 21, 2010
Pours medium yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is somewhat faint, but grain, grass, a touch of toast and more grainy malt. Flavor offers a fairly rich, grainy and somewhat sweet malt profile with grassy and lightly floral hops. Palate is thin, but kind of creamy with a soft carbonation. Not a bad pils, tasty and refreshing, but lacking in several categories.

On tap at Haus Staudt. Pours a brilliant yellowish-golden color with a medium-sized white head and some lacing. The aroma is rather bready and malty, with a touch of grain and some grassy hops. Pretty nice. The flavor is enjoyable as well. Mildly sweet with a big pale malt backbone, and almost a wheaty aspect that I might be imagining. Corn and grassy hops. Not as hoppy as others I’ve had. Very smooth mouthfeel with medium-light body and a good carbonation level. An enjoyable pils overall, one I’d order again.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Geiserich (2276) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - AUG 15, 2010
Bottled: Aroma with notes of grain, some notes of apples and hops. Pale golden color and a white head. Flavor is light fruity and well hopped. Notes of light herbal and grassy hops, nice bitterness. Dry, medium bitter finish. Nice pilsner

Bottle. Pours a light, clear yellow with a small white head. Pleasant aroma with light malts, dry corn and grassy hops. Flavor begins quite sweet with some grainy malts and finishes with light bitterness. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Not a bad beer at all.

Gold pour, white head. Light malt and hops, with some vegetable and skunk. Boring and easy.
