3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Radek Kliber (5308) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JUN 11, 2003
Fairly light, pale gold, nice clean refreshing aroma. Fruity hoppy aroma, as pils should be. Lighter on body but well made. Only if there was a bit more flavour this would be one of best pilsners.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - FEB 8, 2005
Not a bad pilsener, but nothing exceptional. Nice golden color, but lacking in a sustained head and lively beading. The aroma is sweet and grassy. It’s a bit too heavy in the mouth and carries too sweet of a taste, lacking somewhat in the snappy hopping that one anticipates in a pils.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 Drake (5232) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - DEC 30, 2008
12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA.
Pours a yellowish gold color with a medium head and low head
retention. Aroma is skunk, cereal, grain and corn. Taste is
bitter, grassy hops and a slight corny graininess. Medium bodied
with vigorous carbonation.

Fairly good pils, but perhaps a bit unbalanced.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 shrubber85 (5058) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - APR 26, 2006
Bottle. Slightly sour corn-barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Very dry sour grainy malt flavor. Tastes more like a pale lager (export) than a German pilsener. Not representative of the style - may be too old.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 motelpogo (5047) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 2, 2002

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 BBB63 (5029) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - MAY 22, 2005
Bottle: Crystal golden hue with a lasting fizzy head and good lace in my flute glassware. The aroma has notes of grassy and herbal hops, bready malts, and hints of honeycomb. The taste is primarily grassy noble hops and a background of sweetbread. Lingering mild bitterness on the finish. The feel isn’t as crisp as I would like but still refreshing. Overall, an okay bier but nothing to seek out.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Plovmand (4962) - Helsinge, DENMARK - APR 5, 2012
Can. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy and malty with some grainy notes. The flavour is malty and light hoppy with notes of grass and hay. Too the sweet side.
