3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 proc (342) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - APR 11, 2003
A good pils but not an outstanding one. Pours out to the usual golden color of the style but slightly darker than the norm. Puffy, white head that settles quickly. Aroma is that of bread dough and light hops. Taste is refreshing with a nice bit of hops on the finish but nothing overwhelming or exciting.

A well made German style pilsner. Crisp with a slight hop bite and the roundness of the German Style

This is what heineken wishes it was. bitter aroma. medium to light body awashed in bitterness and crispness. the finish was bitter, leaves a lot of hop flavors sticking to the tongue, kind of likechewing the pellets raw.

Brilliant yellow with the normal stout airy head common to these beers. Usual grainy German pils-type aroma. The beer tastes a bit skunky like most imported versions, unfortunately. But behind it is the classic German-style lager ... extremely sharp and crisp. A good drink.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2011 Nothing offensive about this, but at the same time nothing much of note. A little bit of lemon in the finish.
Re: rate nice grassy hops, lightly toasted malt. A little honey. A bit sweet in the finish.

Bottle via sloth. Pours a golden yellow as pictured with a quickly dissipating white head. Lacing is at first quite delicate and slowly disolves into thin rings. Nose is a whimsy of malt. A gentle rolling of light grains and just a bit of faint hops at finish brings this glass to my lips repeatedly. Body is light +. Aftertaste is a bit chalky. A great first of the day brew.

Gold with small white head. Aroma of malt and hops. Clean flavour, slightly sweet. Like most German pilseners, a quick finish. Light enough in alcohol to be a session beer. Nice with sausage.

Ar: Grassy, lightly grainy malt.
Ap: Golden, crystal clear - large white head with very good retention and beautiful lacing.
T: Clean grainy malt with a touch of sweetness up front - medium-low bitterness with some chalky water - finish is a bit spicy.
P: Light body with medium-high carbonation - finish is very dry.
O: Clean, refreshing, and flavorful pils - really just solid all around.

Bottle shared with Barrios at work. Pours a brilliantly clear light gold with large true white head that is fairly well sustained. Nose is grassy with a light honey note. Flavor is more honey, and a little corny with just a twinge of saaz hop bitterness on the tail. Very well balanced and easy drinking. Medium body is soft on the palate. Pretty good for style.
