(Sample at Papsř’s) Pours a pale straw with little off-white head. Aroma is a moderate apple with notes of wood and pee. Medium carbonation, medium body, watery texture and an astringent finish. Taste is mildly sweet and moderately acidic. I’m not used to rating cider so my vocabulary here may be even more limited than with beers. However, I prefer something a lot more dry and with more barrel-notes (’artisanal’) than this.
