COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The cider "El Gaitero Extra" is produced by traditional methods. We select a mixture of asturian cider apples with a great aromatic richness paying attention of organoleptic characteristics. The high quality juice so obtained is transformed after slow fermentation at low temperatures.

750 ml bottle. L3/143. (Carrefour) Almería, Spain.
Clear lively golden colour with a small white head. Apples, dryness and airy notes in the aroma. Not bad. The flavour is dry apples, apple juice, sulphites, mild vomit and mild sweetness. Drinkable. White label one was better.

A little better than its silvery cousin, better and kind of strong aroma to apples, sadly the carbonation is excessive.

On bottle from Eroski, Alcudia. Golden color, good carbonation. Aromas of mature apples- medium intensity. Light / medium body & complexity. Some sourness, also sweetness-well balanced. Enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

70cl bottle. More bodytha his lighter sisters, subtle tart aromas, hazy bright gold, high carbonated. Enjoyable.

29/11 A 0.75 l bottle from some supermarket in Oviedo. It poured pale golden body with big head that didn’t live long. Weaker apple aroma. Sweet flavor, some sweet apples and candies, that would be it. Medium in body, sticky, with long sugary finish. Easily drinkable, like a kid’s apple juice, sweet and without any interesting character. And that is supposed to be a better quality Gaitero.

This cider has lots of flavor upfront, but ends up very dry and mostly bubbly in the second half...Light acidity and wilderness gives it a more memorable and quenching character... Forgettable, but enjoyable...

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Bergen Storsenter. Light yellow-green body with a short-lived crust of a head. Lively carbonation is evident in the glass, though. Aroma is wood, apple juice and mild yeasty tones. Taste is sweet apples, wood, apple cores. A bit one-dimensional, but nice enough. Medium carbonation in the mouth, smooth palate otherwise. An OK cider.

Aroma: fresh apple Appearance: pale, clear, minimal head, Taste: medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness, Palate: light body, thin feel, lively, long finish, Pretty nice if you don´t like cider, but it´s just a commercial product

Bottle. Pale golden, fine champagne carbonation. Suptle apple and light barnyard aroma - more refined than the white label cousin, but maybe not as flavourful. Dry apples, a hint pear, light acidity. Fresh sparkly body. Dry finish, apple orchard retronasal.
