22 oz. bottle. Pours a bright yellow color with an off white head. Aroma is ruby red grapefruit, mango and Tangerine. Flavor is dryish and citrusy with bready maltiness in back. Medium body, light carbonation. Finish is moderately bitter. A very nice session ale. Iím really enjoying this beer, so much so that Iíve stocked up in case itís not in steady rotation.

Bottle via trade. Medium gold with an attractive pillowy white head. Bright, clean citrus nose. Grapefruit meat and a bit of lemon cake. Not particularly dank or dirty. Clean, subtle pale malt backbone leaves the simple, dry lemony hop flavors to shine. Moderately bitter, eminently drinkable. Soft carbonation. Overall, well executed.

22 oz. bottle from the brewery. It pours a golden yellow color with an off white head. The aroma is potent ruby red grapefruit with mango and orange. The flavor is dry and citrusy with slightly bready, crackery malt background. Light bodied and dry with a moderately bitter finish. This may have been better with a touch more body to complement the Citra character, but still a good beer anyway.

Bottle into glass. Nose of tropical fruit and dank. Cloudy dark yellow to amber pour medium white head. Flavor is kinda boring. Scroll past decent but not grate.

Poured from a bottle. Hazy gold with a creamy, white head. Citrus aroma. Bitter grapefruit taste. Bitterness fades rather quickly. Very easy drinking. Pretty good but the bottle is almost 4 months old. I wonder how much better this would be fresh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Straw colored pour with a white head. Citrusy hop aromas. Big grapefruit hop notes with melon and honey undercurrents. A bit unbalanced with a substantial amount of bitterness from the hops. For 5.5%, itís got a very good mouthfeel and body. I could drink this bad mutha all day long. For me, this is the definition of a session beer....

22 oz bottle. Pours a clear orange color with a sticky white head. Aroma Of citra hops, lots of citrus peel and mango. Mild wrath, some grass and weed notes. Taste is mild sweetness with intense bitterness. Medium bodied with above average carbonation. Finishes long and bitter. Nice.

Bomber bottle. Persistent thin white covering over amberish yellow body and lacing fast and wispy. A bit of old grocery funk in the aroma that the citra seems calculated to disguise or balance. Taste is mild salt, bitter. Palate is clean, and fairly fresh, astringent like fruit juice with a thin creamy finish. Seems a fine sample of an American Pale Ale. Not my style with a bit too much hops, but Iím not sure of the dynamic of its role in this brew.
