Full bodied and noticeably more amber in color than most California IPA. Our flagship IPA is bursting with fruity hop character, balanced well by a rich, silky body. The Simcoe hop makes itʼs distinct presence known with pine and passionfruit notes with Cascade filling in. Itʼs hop aroma is complex and hearty, and is mirrored in the palette. This IPA has a pronounced malt profile with a touch of caramel showing, yet the beer finishes dry. The bigger body gives more of a base for the hop character to grow from, and more to balance.

On tap @ El Segundo Brewing. Amber pour with a big khaki head. Nose is caramel, peach, and floral hops. Light grapefruit, some orange, and herbs. Sweet flavor of caramel and peach. Grass, light pine, and herbs. Some hints of grapefruit and a lot of straw on the finish. Light bitterness.

On tap. Pours with a clear copper body with a small off-white head. Aromas of hops: floral, citrus. Light esters and some caramel bready notes. Flavors are medium bitter with a bitter balance overall. Mostly citrus from the hops with light undertones of earthy and more herbal hops. Some caramel/crystal malt flavors. Medium dry with medium carbonation. Alcohol creeps a little bit for what I was expecting. Pretty good overall.

Clear dark amber color with lasting ivory head. Nice spicy, tea leaf, pine, citrusy aromas. Medium bodied with soft co2. Pine, floral, tea leaf hoppy bitter flavors with a pale malt sweetness____nicely drying bitter finish---good.

Draft...at party. Amber capped nicely. Bright pine and citrus hops in the aroma. Smells chewy also. And is chewy but still refreshing at the same time, good body. Some cannabis hop character too. Leaving lingering array of hop bitterness including pine, fir, cannabis. Nice overall.

22 oz. bottle. It pours a deep orange/copper color with a nice creamy orange head. The aroma is nice fresh pine and citrus with some candied hop and caramel sweetness. The flavor is full with fruity hops… grapefruit, passionfruit, peach and pine all with a reasonable dose of specialty malt and hints of caramel sweetness. Good strong bitter finish. Really a nice IPA.

Draft - Perfumy and pine on he nose. Clear copper with a great persistent head. Flowery, slight grapefruit and a great malt backbone to balance. More of an east coast style. Finishes with a nice mellow grapefruit. Super IPA.

In a crowded field this stands out. Crisp with clear hop flavors. The bitterness hits then fades off. Pours a pretty orange color. Aroma, like all Blue House brews is strong. Super easy to drink.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber, thanks to Mike. Lots of caramel and toffee, resinous hops, citrusy, pine. There are notes of oxidation in the finish.
