Two-row malt, meet Nelson Sauvin and Citra. Fast friends indeed. As sleek as a 9% DIPA can be with the sharp hop tone of lemon peels filled in by orange marmalade and just utter dankness. And you thought those tankers off-shore were just unloading crude... 2 pounds of dry hops per barrel. That’s right.

Bomber purchased at Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa ($7.97). Pours a hazy burnt orange hue with one finger of white foam. AROMA of peach, overripe melon (honeydew?), sweet citrus, honey malts, and some tropical fruit notes. FLAVOR of sweet mandarin orange, moderate pine, peach / apricot, biscuity caramel malts, with some noticeable alcohol at the end. Not particularly bitter overall, with nicely balanced sweetness as well. This is an altogether well-made DIPA, though I was a little disappointed with the perceptible alcohol. (35, 882)

22 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a medium frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet melon and tropical fruity hops and some caramel malts.

The flavor is sweet melons and caramel malt with a big piney hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a nice fruity piney DIPA.

Un nez sépare entre le grain torréfié et la pêche/fruits tropicaux. Le goût est complexe avec des grains, de l'amertume et sucre. La finale est amère, sèche. Vraiment apprécié. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a slightly hazy copper orange color nice foamy head. Aroma is citrucy hops and some alcohol noticable. Taste follows the Aroma well with some pine hop bitterness on the backend and decent malt balance. Very nice brew nothing stands out but it is made well. Could be better if the booze was hidden a little better. Medium mouth feel.

650 ml bottle, thanks tiong. Pours a copper colour with a small head. Aroma is rather unique with it’s heavy marmalade notes, orange juice and basil. Rich flavour of sweet malts, marmalade, tropical fruits, rich floral notes and biscuit. Full bodied and thick mouthfeel with a lingering bitter, citrusy finish. Really enjoyable.

22oz bottle poured into hotel cup. Two-finger off-white head over orange hazy body that fades to a ring and cap that last. Aroma is of pine, dankness, citrus, tropical fruit, herbs, and caramel. Taste has similar flavors with initially sweet caramel and bread followed by citrus peel, herb, pine, and grassy bitterness. Booze and bitter on the swallow. Medium body, creamy and resinous texture, moderate carbonation, and a dry bitter finish.

@Basunen: riktig fin och skarp humledoft tillsammans med en fin fruktighet. Smaken är god med fruktig citrus. Fin balans. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
