COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for Rob’s dog, the White alludes to our use of 50% wheat instead of barley in this beer. Aside from that though, this beer has very little in common with what most people consider a “wheat” beer. The wheat in the malt bill gives the beer a lighter texture and mouthfeel, and helps to accentuate the bright citrus characters of the fruity West Coast and New Zealand hops we use. The result is an IPA that Hop Heads will love, but that is immediately approachable for most people.

On draft. Unusual wheat IPA: More of a chocolatey malt finish than is usual in the style. Hop profile is citrus and pine. Super mix, killer beer.

Poured from a bottle. Very cloudy gold. White head, little lacing. Sweetness in the aroma, but I can't put my finger on it. Very strange taste, unlike any IPA I've ever had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Harry’s Hofbrau. Moderate orange aroma with smooth wheat backing. Hazy orange-copper with a white head of large bubbles that lingers. Taste is orange and a little pine. Quite juicy. Mouthfeel is medium-this with a moderate low bitterness and semi-dry finish.

650 ml bottle from bev4less. pours a hazy amber color with a medium white head that has good retention. The aroma is subtle with oranges and bubble gum. The taste, like the nose, features more bubble gum, tangerines, oranges and mixed fruit cocktail. The palate is full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes short and dry, too short. Overall: Decent white IPA.

Bottle from Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours copper with a thick off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale malt flavor with a bitter finish. Light and refreshing, but with heavy hopping.

22 oz. bottle. It pours a bright orange color with a creamy off white head. The aroma is very pleasant with good Nelson like tropical fruit and dank. A little citrus as well. The flavor is again very fruity with passionfruit, white grape, citrus and grass with a strong floral bitter finish. Nice full body without being heavy on the palate or with crystal malt. Very good beer.
