4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma of mango, pineapple, strawberry, slight pear, lovely hops tropical in style.Pours a surprising clear yellow considering the 50% wheat bill. Taste is missing the mal end but the hops are remarkably refreshing and sweet. palate is nice and not too dry really stellar. overall this is and incredibly refreshing take on the style.

On tap at 10 East -
I’ve never had a chance to enjoy a beer from El Segundo Brewing and this was a really nice way to get introduced to this brewer. A beer built around a solid hop profile is always ok with me. A strong citrus start, some light cat piss and pine needles. The flavor has a touch of onion-like character to it, but digging a little more there’s plenty of citrusy bitterness found in each sip. There is an even malt bill keeping time with the hops, but I would have never guessed it was 50% wheat. What a refreshing beer.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2 finger very creamy thick white head. Insanely cloudy yellow. Nose is light peppercorn and yeasty with a touch of lime. Creamy mouthfeel very close to melted milk shake. Bitterness is intense in the middle to end. Lots of herbal notes. Spicy at the statt. Maybe a little woody. Sublte peach and citrus undertones.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Venice ale house, Venice: pours pale yellow and cloudy. Aroma is lemon, pine, bubblegum. Taste is slightly bitter. It is on the fruity side of IPAs, but the wheat cuts in even further into what you expect from the style. Not bad.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours an opaque yellow color with a slight citrus aroma. Taste is peppery and leaves a lasting coriander film on the palate. Light lemon flavor, only exception is this beer is too thin.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2014 On draft. Unusual wheat IPA: More of a milk chocolatey malt finish than is usual in the style. Hop profile is citrus and pine. Super mix, killer beer.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Poured from a bottle. Very cloudy gold. White head, little lacing. Sweetness in the aroma, but I can't put my finger on it. Very strange taste, unlike any IPA I've ever had.
