On tap at Post No Bills in Sand City. Nice golden color with medium white head. As the bartender was pouring he mentioned that it was getting close to the bottom of the keg, and there seemed to be a little more heat. Mild nose with no indication of the heat to come. Very spicy hot to the taste, hitting the mouth but quickly dissipating, but lingering up through the nose. Had just a small sample, but a friend ordered a pint and I was able to finish off the last 4 oz for her,,,even hotter as it sat for a bit. Worth the experience.

Pours copper with a thin white head. Nose is light floral hop and a distinctive ghost chili note. The flavor may be something, but you'll never know, because the chili heat will dominate your senses before the light graininess registers. Don't bother if you can't take heat. This stuff is hot, but quite tasty if you can take the heat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at GABF. Pours cloudy yellow with white head. Nose and taste of hot hot chilies, malt, peppercorn and light lemongrass. Medium body.

On tap at Apex in Portland. Was tasting this for the rest of the night... smell normal, grainy. Taste is big even Chili fire. Interesting to have 2 sips of. Not as offensive as ghost face killah. But long even burn. If chili fire is a style, it’s well done. If not, then it’s kind of offensive.

Golden pour with a white head. Smells hot, almost singes the nose. Nothing else really comes through on the nose. Maybe just a little bit of grainy sweetness. The flavor is absolutely brutal. I like spicy stuff, but this is ridiculous. I could barely choke down a couple small sips. Just a very light grain sweetness.

On tap. Clear golden pour, very little head. Nose is earthy with sweet grains - actually smells spicy. Just about knocked my head off in one sip - decent flavor but mostly just heat.

Clear copper color. Aroma is surprisingly faint, chili and grain, nothing too out of the ordinary. Taste is... hot. Not outlandish in the big scheme of things but very hot for a beer. Still, the heat does not overpower the essential grainy beerness of the style and, for that, I am quite impressed. Well worth a taste.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2012 Tap. According to the brewer it is their most commonly ordered sampler - usually for somebody else :). Pours clear light amber with a medium white head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is chili pepper and a grain/malt background. Flavor is dominated by spicy chili. I believe the hottest beer in the world claim. There are notes of grain and mildly sweet malt in the background, but they are buried under the chili bite. This one amuses me.

Pours hazy golden with a small head. Aroma strong chili, like sniffing capaicine. Burning strong chili taste. Strongest chilibeer in a while.. Not Bad.

Bottle - Smells and looks like a pale ale. No hints of chili on the nose, but when you taste it wow. All heat, but no flavour. Interesting but make sure you share a bottle and keep a glass of water handy.
