Tawny colored, this IPA is true to style. It is very generously hopped with Tomahawk, Centennial, Cascade, and Amarillo hops for and intensely hoppy aroma, flavor and bitterness with a balanced malty flavor.

Misses the mark on the IPA style. Balance isn’t there and the malt has a bad aftertaste.

12oz bottle, thanks kmweaver. Large off-white head atop cloudy amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, pine, orange/grapefruit, some caramel, light lemon. Taste is moderately sweet, pine/lemon, some grapefruit, caramel. Medium body, some resin.

Recently available in AZ. Out of a bottle. Not really impressed. Not much of an aroma. Taste is bitter and malty. As far as an ipa goes, not worth the price of a 6 pack imo. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Orange in color with a white head. Big grapefruit, pineapple, and tangerine aromas. A little bit of mango, some sugar, pine, and a little bit of bread. Some floral notes, too. There’s a nice citrus flavor of grapefruit and tangerine with a moderate tropical quality, too. Some caramel maltiness with a nice bitterness on the finish.

Light amber pour at GABF. Aroma of resin, citrus peel and a hint of toffee sweetness. Flavor spells out what the aroma hinted. Citrus/resin hops and a caramel malt backbone.

Bottle from JW77. Boring IPA. Pours an orange color. Aroma is resinous and some citrus. Flavor isn’t bad, citrus, caramel malt. But its boring. Just ok.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2012 Tap. Pours clear light amber, medium off white head, great lacing. Aroma is muted grapefruit, pine and herbs. Flavor is grapefruit, lightly spicy and sprucy, light bitter finish. Buttery and full bodied in the mouth. Nice IPA.

Hazy copper pour from firkin, fine foamy head persists. Very nice, light hop aroma, spruce, blended with hay. Bitter taste, not too strong, blended with caramel sweetness, and a hint of yeast from the cask. Alcohol note in their as well. Reminds me of a good homebrew.

Picked up a bottle at John’s Marketplace, in PDX. Pours a dingy yellow beige with a huge pillowy off-white head. Nice fresh citrusy hop aroma with a slight husky papery note. Perfumy soapy hop flavor, plenty bitter na d a lingering background grainy malty profile. Quite strong hop character, but more of the soap and chemical kind. A bit of a let down for such a highly rated beer. But still a decent IPA... and that’s no "Bull"

A: Poured a burnt orange color with good carbonation, nice white cap and some soapy like bubbles and lacing remains S: Toasty, grapefruit, some spicy notes witha whiff of toasty smoke T: Oh boy. I’m not exactly how fresh this IPA is but it needs help. First sip is bittering orange peel, grapefruit, spicey, biscuity, toasted with a faded hop presence. The back end is a slick, grapefruit hop bite with a annoying buttery bite blended with hop bitterness, some astringency and booze. M: Heavy, unplesasnt and disturbing O: Wave the white flag.
