COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tawny colored, this IPA is true to style. It is very generously hopped with Tomahawk, Centennial, Cascade, and Amarillo hops for and intensely hoppy aroma, flavor and bitterness with a balanced malty flavor.

Cloudy medium golden color with effervescing bubbles. It’s got a medium full aroma with citric notes. The flavor is medium full with a surprising and pleasant tang. Very well balanced with blended medium roast malt notes ringing very clear. This is very well done, solid IPA in a subdued and complex form of the monster West Coast IPA style. On the south side of San Jose, this is another soon-to-be-great NorCal brewery. Far more hits than misses with stellar contributions like Poppy Jasper.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2003 The beer pours a somewhat bemused deep amber color, the head biggish in size, frothy in texture and a light tan color, as it diminishes in size the lace forms a nice covering sheet. Hop floral nose, underpinned my sweet malt, lemon like crispness and a real treat, start is slightly sweet, nice malt profile, the top fair to middling in its feel. Acidic bite at the finish, hops slap your palate big time, somewhat dry and bitter aftertaste, a fine California IPA, looks like another order with “Beer On The Wall” is due, as its not available here and I’m “Out”.

Very rich and hoppy with a fresh & fruity aroma. Just about everything I look for in a good IPA. Has that tart and bitter finish I love.
