Bottle. Poured a dark orange brown with a thick lasting white head. Malty aroma, Malty flavour, but not as sweet as one would expect from the label. A lekker hop tinge and a lasting all over the tongue finish.

Tap. Pours a medium amber with light head with light retention. Slightly fruity, sweet aroma. Flavors reminiscent of iced tea and almost a tiny hint of vanilla ice cream (but not so much as to make it like a flavored brew). Medium body & carbonation.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sweet with some complexity of flavor that gets lost in the overwhelming caramel. I didnít hate this beer, but I struggled with its lack of balance. There is plenty of malt in the flavor and aroma with some lightly roasted notes that I wish were a bit stronger. The abv isnít high enough for the beer to be syrupy or horribly sweet but it tended in that direction for me. The mouthfeel is fine with appropriate carbonation.

Bottled. Poured clear medium amber with a moderate cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet caramel, nutty notes, and a little molasses with a touch of earth and vanilla accenting.. quite sweet overall. The flavor found caramel and molasses at the core, with vanilla around.. very little bitterness to note, but perhaps a little oxidation.. tacky finish with a lot of residual sugars. Light-medium bodied and a bit sharp on the palate.. not a great feel.. this was just OK.

This orange/copper ale poured with a rich beige head and a toffee aroma. There is also a toffee flavor with enough hop bitterness to keep it balanced. Itís a pretty good amber ale.

Pours dark amber with a small off white head. Hoppy aroma with fruit basket and spicy caramel/toffee malts. The flavor is caramel malty and fruit. Very plummy with a strong hop bitterness in the end. A nice beer.
