Little head and slightly floral aroma. Moderately hoppy flavor with a slight pleasent finish. Good overall beer.

12-Mar-08 (12 oz bottle: Purchased 10-Feb-08 for $1.99 at City Beer in San Francisco, CA) This is a nicely balanced amber ale for fans of West Coast brews. The malt is caramely, toasty and lightly grainy, but only mildly sweet. Solid balance is provided by somewhat floral, moderately bitter hops. Even more impressive is the hoppy aroma, so fresh and aromatic, the beer smells dry-hopped, although the malty component is lacking the presence and character it has in the flavor. Medium-bodied from start to finish with a crisp, clean finish. Hazy, deep copper in color with half an inch of off-white head settling to a wide, bubbly ring. Some patchy lacing on the glass. A solid amber ale all around.

Pours a dark amber, nice off white head. Aroma of "mellow malt" and a little hoppy kick. Flavor is very malty, sweet, with a hoppy kick. A nice brown!. Thanks to Beerguy101 for this one!

Thought this was above average when it came to flavor for an amber ale. Aroma of malts — breads, earth, leather and yeast. The flavor was all malt with a slight bitterness and slightly tart aftertaste. Thin body with nice carbonated mouthfeel.

Poured a cloudy brownish amber color. Aroma was slightly fruity and caramel maltiness. Flavor was really smooth and easy to drink. Pretty tastey amber.

Sampled on draught. Pours really nice, has a crispness to its aroma. Drinks really nice, full of caramel. Don’t taste the malts too strong, but really refreshing.

Poured into a pint glass. Clear reddish brown with a sticky beige head. Tangy citrus aroma with bready brown malts. Flavor is toasted wheat bread with orangey hops, maybe some caramel. Rather light. Mouthfeel is average in every way. Drinkable but boring.

Amber in color with a white head. Toasted malt, bread, toffee, and caramel. Light floral hop qualities, some hints of pine, and a little citrus peel. The flavor is very sweet and malt forward. Lots of toffee, caramel, and bread. Floral hops, light pine bitterness, and some citrus peel. A little too sweet for me.
