12 oz bottle from bytemesis who got it at El Toro. Label says El Toro Yo Winter Brew labeled with print in top margin saying BREW 1590. Nose is bubblegum, light pine resin, sweet toffee, and floral. Lightly hazy cherry wood brown with a medium, lightly lacing, beige head. Flavor is moderately sweet toffee with some dark fruitiness and a very light bitterness. Very smooth and drinkable. Finishes with a hint of bitter and alcohol warmth.

Bottle from the old man. Amber with a nice tight off white head. Aroma is malty, light caramel, dried fruit, burnt sugar. Taste is dried fruit, lightly malty, mild alcohol, very mild roastiness in the background. Lacks complexity, but still good.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours darkly ruddy with a beige head. Malty aroma. Med + body. Flavor is balanced hop/malt. Brown sugar is well under control. Heat not bothersome. Nice to drink.

Tap. Pours clear deep amber, medium creamy off white head, great lacing. Aroma is quite light with notes of toffee, dried fruit, citrus. Flavor is the same, light sweet, very light bitter, medium warming finish. Light-medium body, creamy.
