Draught at "Osteria della Birra" - Bergamo (BG).
Yellow pale color, good resistance head. Nice shining clear with a delicate and fine bubbly aspect. Fresh and sour notes. Muche flowery and cellar notes. Medium acidulos taste, modest alcohol content.

Bottle 750ml.

Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, grassy, fruity, crispy hops, refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120331]

Bottle @ FOneFan. Hazy dark yellow with tiny white head. Aroma is malt, straw, hops and grass. Flavour is malt, straw, little sweet, straw, little grass, little citrus, hops and a little bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - grass. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 310312

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are crisp clean malt and hops. Soft carbonated and medium bodied.

1 L bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma grassy and light herbal hoppy. Bitter and light fruity hoppy. Smooth and light hoppy flavoured. Bitter and crisp hoppy into the finish.

Kölsch’s never been one of my favourite beer styles, but this "tribute" made by Elav is not even decent. Watery, not well balanced between the sourness of a kölsch and the grassy notes. The use of american hops doesn’t help.

Anche questa è davvero una bella birra, anche se vale lo steso discorso fatto per la punks do it bitter, non è una vera kolsch. Va detto che questi di Elav lavorano davvero bene!

[330ml bottle courtesy of cgarvieuk] Hazy gold pour, with a thin white head. Slight hop aroma, grassy on the nose. Quite high levels of carbonation. Grassy hop flavour, with some bitter hop linger. Dry finish. Decent stuff [20122011]

In bottle, pours a blonde colour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, grassyhops, alcohol and yeast. Similar flavours with alcohol fairly present. Mild carbonation with an oily mouth-feel. Just OK.
