330 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of citrus, grains and some pineapple. Flavour of grains, juicy pineapple, some vegetable notes, yeast and floral bitterness. Light bodied and rather soft carbonation. Unbalanced.

Slightly hazy orange color, small white head. Fruity, slightly tart aroma. Light-bodied. Sweetish, grainy maltyness. Plain.

Tap@5p. Light yellow, hazy. Pale straw malty nose with a good deal of yeasty fruityness reminiscent of coriander seeds and lemon zest. Light bodied, dry. Citric biscuity maltyness, nobles in the finish. I definitely feel the kölsch fruityness, but it’s not as subtle as I’d like, rather raw and akwardly clumsy actually. A bit too much hops too, to really enjoy it, feels more like a fruity pils.

Draught. Hazy yellow beer, nice creamy head. Fresh and rather hoppy nose with hints of raw peach, black currants, hay. Dryish grainy malts in the back. Dryish, thin malty flavor, juicy fruitiness from Nelson. Slightly vegetal hop bite in the finish, some papery notes too. Light body, slightly watery.

Golden ale at best, this is not a Kolsch at all. Still waiting for a real one outside Koln. Boring beer, usual light exotic fruits and no head at all. Best avoided.

Medium, slighlty yellowish head over well-carbonated metallic orange-yellow beer with a faint cold haze. Garden herbs/weeds, spicy. Spiced poppodums, maybe some coriander. Bitterish, aromatic hops catching the attention immediately, completely unlike the nose. There’s still a slight spiciness, especially retronasal, but it is in no way dominant. No trace of coriander left. Dry, thin unlieavened bread with some dried unobtrusive herbs, maybe. Finish has something earthy. Spritzy, light body, prominent CO². Not bad by half. Just the nose giving off some unsettling (maybe onwanted?) preconceptions. Very drinkable, after all.
