Botella de 330ml. Vaso Tumbler de ˝ pt. Saboreada en agt´12. Color dorado pálido, algo velada con espuma blanca de burbuja mediana y carbonatación chispeante. Corona fina y persistente. Aromas de levadura fresca florales y de levadura fresca con leves trazos de fruta madura. Entrada de limpio amargo seguida de un toque ligero de malta y fruta. Cuerpo medio-ligero y carbonatación moderada. Textura oleosa-aguada. Lúpulo cítrico en el intermedio que permanece hasta el final seco de limpio amargo. Resinas subyacentes en el retrogusto. Muy buena asimilación. Refrescante, buen representante del Estilo y buena alternativa a las “ácidas” Lager.

Fresh yeast & floral aromas with a light ripe fruit hues. Clean bitterness at first sip followed by slightly malty & fruity touch. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. Oily to watery texture. Citric hop in the middle lingers into a dry, clean, bitter finish. Underlying resins on the aftertaste. Very easy drinkability. Refreshing, nice spot of the Style & good alternative to “acidic” lagers.

Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, grassy, fruity, crispy hops, refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120331]

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are crisp clean malt and hops. Soft carbonated and medium bodied.

Kölsch’s never been one of my favourite beer styles, but this "tribute" made by Elav is not even decent. Watery, not well balanced between the sourness of a kölsch and the grassy notes. The use of american hops doesn’t help.
