On tap. Pours midnight black with medium head, darker than a latte. Aroma rich in coffee and cocoa, some dark malts. Tastes round and creamy with heavy notes of coffee. Bitterness is higher than expected with flowery hops. The aftertaste is bitter in the same way as black olives.

Black color, generous compact head. Nice aroma of roasted malts and hop, light coffee, hops, light liquorice, nice nutty presence; interesting complexity. Good body structure; the flavor of roasted malt is a bit too strong, then dark chocolate, some liquorice, phenol, a bit salty; the final is full with roasted malt and its light acidity; no apparent residual sweetness.
Very interesting aroma, more common flavor.

33cl bottle from Beerhive. Pours like a coffee - nice opaque black with a lovely crema. The nose has an almost salty chocolate note with a caramel note following. The taste has a charcoal to liquorice flavour with an earthiness in the background. The palate is medium to full bodied in body and texture with a nice elegant finish. Overall, a nice interesting stout/porter.
