STILE: American IPA

Malti: Pale, Crystal, Chocolate

33cl bottle. Cloudy dark amber beer. Massive cream head. Light smooth palate (even watery). Light hops sit well in a toffee malt flavors but some metallic notes emerge from background. Bitterish afertaste, nothing special.

Keg at Craft Beer Rising. A clear red amber colour with a frothy off white head. Aroma of caramel, toasted malts, some orange, slight grapefruit and subtle pine. Taste of orange marmalade, toasted malts, some grapefruit, a little resin, subtle dark fruits and subtle burnt toast. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A surprisingly sweet, resinous hop bitterness in the finish. Started off quite malty and sweet for an IPA, but then the grapefruit and resin came through, plus it’s got a great body.
